Dr. Roland “Buddy” Weldon is the Technology in Motion Specialist from the Southeast Alabama Regional Inservice Center located at Troy University. He provides ongoing job-embedded professional development for faculties on the use of existing and emerging technologies through the inservice area, which includes 21 school systems in 11 counties. This is his fifth year providing professional development to educators in various environments (face-to-face, online, and blended learning). Buddy has taught grades five through twelve and is also a certified Special Areas Teacher. As an Education Technologist, he believes that educators should incorporate technology that promotes student learning opportunities, improve teacher efficiency, or increases collaboration among educators.
